IDEAL INTERIORS SHOW 2010 slated for 6th-10th August at The Village Market, Nairobi, Kenya brings all the glamour and excitement of the country’s homegrown, European and Asian interior designs.

The event aimed to pay tribute to the modern design era and generate new business in-roads gives ambitious interior designers and furniture manufacturers among others the perfect business opportunity to penetrate the booming Kenyan interior design market.

Humphrey Odhiambo, the show director, says: “Ideal Interiors places the doing of business at the core of the four-day event. At this show we are introducing a number of features to help the interior design industry maximize opportunities in a market that customers keep demanding for more aesthetically appealing, technologically advanced and sustain-ably sound breed of creative interiors.”

Being East Africa’s biggest, thought-provoking and insightful event showcasing aesthetically appealing, technologically advanced and sustain-ably sound breed of creative interiors, it brings to the fore a stimulating mix of interior designers with a specialist touch in homes, offices and the hospitality industry.

Among the most striking designer elements at the show will include the Ideal Creative Home designed by Shahin Rajwani, director Spiegel Interiors. With a choice of mixing a classical design approach with contemporary style, Shahin’s premier show-stopper house at the Ideal Interiors Show hinges on modern living.

Shahin who over ten years has brought enthusiasm to each project she undertakes as a commercial and residential designer says the show-house is in sync with this year’s theme: Keeping Pace with the New Breed of Interiors. Her valuable experience can be depicted from leading hotels in East Africa, hospitals, spas and living facilities to office spaces and kitchen and bath designs.

Passionate and quite tenacious in her quest for design solutions, the Spiegel Interiors lead designer has zealously arranged to blend a classical design approach with contemporary stylish works to develop the most appropriate results.

As the Ideal Interiors Show brings together a stimulating mix of new and established furniture and design specialists in a vibrant interactive environment, the outstanding exhibitors will be awarded during a dazzling I Ideal Interiors Creative Awards (IICA) ceremony to be hosted at Village Market’s New Exhibition Hall.

Trade and public visitors will discover Ideal Interiors as an appropriate ground to meet companies representing a broad selection of interior design leaders from Kenya, Europe, and the Middle East & North Africa.
