Dunlop industries limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Olympia Capital Holdings Limited, a public company listed on the Nairobi Securities Exchange.
It is the only manufacturer of Vinly floor tiles (pvc tiles) in East Africa.Its located along Nanyuki road in Industrial area. It also manufactures Ps4 rubber solution for mending bicycle tyres, all types of adhesives, contact glues and imports and distributes Yokota curtain trucks.
The parent company Olympia Capital was registered in the 1970s as Dunlop Kenya Limited, then a subsidiary of a well known British Multinational. It was acquired by local investors in the year 1996. In 1999 it was registered as Dunlop Industries Limited to concentrate on manufacturing division, while the parent company embarked on investments, merger and acquisitions.
