PG Bison has signed an exclusive supply agreement with Krono Flooring of Germany to market the companyâs high quality laminate flooring and panels in East Africa. Krono Original is one of the worldâs top quality laminate products sold in over 80 countries.
The flooring and panels are for discerning property owners who want the finest finishes for their homes and offices. Krono products are available with a large number of decors and special coatings giving them anti-static, sound insulated and easy to clean properties. Apart from classical wood colours the floorings are offered in trendy retro shades and patterns.
Krono Original features a new concept for panels with invisible joints creating an apparently seamless surface and an endless look. The product is easy to install with a simple click system which does not require glue and has an anti bacterial coating that prevents germs from growing on flooring.
Only timber obtained from sustainably managed forests is used in the manufacture of these floorings. The forests providing the raw material have been independently certified by Pan European Forests Certification and Forest Stewardship Council, an independent, non governmental body established to promote responsible management of the worldâs forests.
Hitesh Mediratta, the Managing Director of PG Bison Kenya said, âIt is a matter of pride and satisfaction that the Krono Original products which we supply from our Nairobi facility in Kampala Road in the Industrial Area and our branch on Lumumba Road in Mombasa are made from raw materials drawn from forests which are managed and certified in compliance with the highest environmental standards.â
He added, âHere in Kenya one of our CSR activities is the development and conservation of forests. Our Company is one of the sponsors of the Greenline project to grow a forest 34 kilometres long and 50 metres wide to protect the Nairobi National Park.â
PG Bison Kenya commenced business in Nairobi nine years ago to distribute interior building materials manufactured. The Company is a joint venture owned by local investors in Kenya and PG Bison South Africa (a member of Steinhoff Africa Holdings).
